7" Boston Fern
The Boston Fern (Nephrolepis Exaltata Bostoniensis) sometimes called the Sword fern, has graceful, arching, green fronds with a ruffled appearance that is best displayed in a hanging basket or on a stand where it can cascade over the edge.
The Boston Fern is one of the best known plants for purifying the air and regulating humidity.
Light: Medium - bright. Avoid direct sun.
Water: Keep the soil moist at all times. Water when the surface becomes slightly dry, but don't let the roots sit in water.
Humidity: Likes a moist environment with above average humidity. Stand on a pebble tray to improve humidity and mist frequently. Pop it in the shower for a while to give it an occasional boost. Lack of humidity can cause the leaves to become dry, brown and brittle.
Mature Size: Fast growing. Mature size up to 3 feet wide and tall.
Comes in a 7" nursery pot.
